Dancers and Team Captains, we hope you are ready to celebrate the best day of the year!

While being a dancer, there are so many things you may have questions about. Refer to the All-Dancer Meeting Slides to answer your questions. If you can not find an answer there, reach out to our Dancer Relations Chair, Maxine White at [email protected]!

Volunteer Sign Ups are live, and our volunteers are so important to us!

Volunteers will sign up for a slot on the Utix website link. They will sign up for either a 4 hour general volunteer shift or 2 hour meal volunteer slots. Volunteers will be assisting with a variety of stations throughout the marathon including hydration station, snack station, charging station, and bag check. Once volunteers have registered they will rank their preferred spot placement and will be notified of their assignment prior to check in. On the day of the marathon, volunteers should arrive 15 minutes prior to their assigned time and enter through the Lexington Avenue entrance to Memorial Coliseum. From there, they should make their way to the West Concourse where the volunteer coordinator will be stationed at a table to check them in. From there, they will be led to their assigned spot by a member of the volunteer committee and shown what they will be doing during their shift. At the end of their shift, a member of the committee will return to escort them back to check in where they will be checked out.

Any questions can be directed to our Volunteer Coordinator, Emma Bateman, at [email protected].

We are so excited to welcome all of our spectators and supporters to DanceBlue 2020!

Spectators are always welcome to come visit and hang out in stands, bring dancers food and cheer them on. This year, we have multiple opportunities for our spectators to get involved with the marathon this year through crowd engagement. Out on the main concourse of Memorial Coliseum, we will have a poster making station where you can creatively show your support for the dancers on the floor. Also on the main concourse, a photo booth will be available where you can snap FTK pictures with friends and family. Additionally, spectators will have the opportunity to participate in games and scavenger hunts from 2-3am and from 3-4pm with DanceBlue merchandise giveaways also going on throughout the marathon. We can’t wait to see you February 29th and March 1st!

Any and all questions can be sent to our Crowd Engagement Coordinator, Victoria Graves, at [email protected]!

We are so grateful for the supporters of DanceBlue, even when they can not make it to the marathon! There are still things you can do to stay up to date with what is happening in Memorial Coliseum. First, be sure to follow us on social media for more frequent updates on the best day of the year. We will release different videos throughout the 24 hours to keep everyone in the loop! Also, be sure to look out for a mail call link on our social media, so that you can send notes for dancers and committee members to read when they may need some words of encouragement during the no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon! We will pass these notes out at some point during the marathon. Another thing to keep in mind is that you can still donate throughout the marathon. Make a donation and send an encouraging message to the people you know are participating.

Give DanceBlue a follow, and we will be sure to give you all the DB2020 content you could possibly need!

Any questions can be sent to our Technology Chair, Audrey Moeglin, at [email protected]!
